Travel Blue director of Travel Retail Jonathan Smith said: ''Nowadays, travellers prefer to travel light without having to tow around many items of luggage. Our new bags are ideal as they are convenient to use and easy to carry and they are also good for storing gifts and souvenirs.''

The new folding bags provides a strong alternative against traditional suitcases, said the company, eliminating the possibility of incurring excess baggage fees from airlines. The bags are lightweight and flexible but extremely durable suitable for all travellers.

Smith added: ''Shorter layover times can increase the likelihood of missed flights or checked luggage not making it to the final destination. The folding bags are extremely spacious inside, great for travellers to carry spare clothes and all of their essentials with them. Bags can then be folded away and neatly stored in the accompanying carry pouch after use.''
